No Corner Boys Here is all about family — the challenges, joys, and hardships faced by the Thurston’s both when they immigrated to Alberta in 1927 and as the children and grandchildren grew up in this province. The students in The Hon. Tarchuk’s riding of Banff – Cochrane will be reminded, as they read these stories, of the events in their own, their parents’ and their grandparents’ lives. What a great gift The Hon. Tarchuk has made — a huge recognition of family life and Alberta history.
